Genuinely absolutely loved the atmosphere of this game, controls felt good, the music was very suiting and the overall vibe as really well executed. I'd love to see you improve on this and make it a full release sometime :)

I love the samurai-cyberpunk atmosphere, and the monotone dithered art style is pretty! Reminded me a bit of ghostrunner as a 2d sidescroller. Other people mentioned this, but I wish the enemies felt like more of a threat. Maybe they could start firing some shots that don't instantly kill the player or just be quicker to react and lower the bullet speed so you can dodge even as you're running at them, like ghostrunner. I may have noticed a bug where you can get an enemy to shoot themself? Another thing that may just be preference is that something about the movement didn't feel quite right when changing directions... maybe my brain expected the camera to lag further behind the character and to have less smoothing. But all this I'm mentioning only cause the game looked so cool, I liked it, and I wanted to play a bunch! I think the game as it is is really fun and decently polished <3 Great job :)
Enemy detection is too slow for enemies to be an actually a treat, you can just dash in and kill them before they fire, makes the stealth trivial. Art is amazing in general and the controls were responsive, jumps a bit floaty though, good work.
Awesome game, combat and movement felt super good. I hope to see this game expanded on. Great work
Really awesome game, gives me flash game vibes like straw hat samurai. I was instantly in love the second I saw the menu, it just feels so alive and the music is great too.
if you go into options and change the theme it freezes up ... also using mouse for attack makes it too awkward to play on a laptop ... looks nice though !
Thanks for trying it out and for the feedback. I've added some extra keybindings in that hopefully make it a bit easier to play on keyboard only. Not sure how i could tackle the aiming via keyboard, but you can now use Q/Enter/Shift to attack now atleast.
As for the theme crash, no idea about that one sorry! Didn't pop up for me in testing. I'll see if i can figure that one out.
